*Call to Confession                                 LISTEN IN

* Prayer of Confession

Mighty Creator, Holy God, help us open our lives to your judgment, that we may see the possibilities of life, which you place before us. We see in Jesus the mark you have set as the measure of our humanity; we have missed that mark. We confess that we have sought comfort more than service and have set before ourselves images and stories and spirits that do not honor you. Forgive our sin and renew in us a right spirit, that we may glorify you and faithfully serve you and your people. Hear our prayers we pray. Amen.

*Silent Confession

*Declaration of Forgiveness

Pastor: God was in Christ reconciling the world to God self, no longer holding our misdeeds against us. Friends, believe the good news.

People: In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven. Amen.

The Lord sits enthroned; he has established his throne for judgment.
